GECAS Delivers Leased Boeing 767-300ER to New Customer MEGA Maldives Airlines

MUMBAI, February 13, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a leased Boeing 767-300ER to a new customer, MEGA Maldives Airlines to help with the young carrier's fleet expansion.

MEGA Maldives Airlines, which started operations in 2010, currently operates two aircraft on a scheduled and charter basis to Hong Kong and other cities in Asia from its base at Male' International Airport on the island nation of Maldives.

IRVING, TX -- Construction equipment dealers are looking forward to improving trends in 2012 while acknowledging the challenges facing the industry, according to survey results released today by GE Capital, Dealer Finance.

Forty percent of respondents said they expect sales to increase 3%-5% this year, while 25% said they expect sales to increase 6%-8%. A full 77% said the best time to increase inventory is within the first half of 2012.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, January 30, 2012 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of three new Boeing 737-800 aircraft leased to Royal Air Maroc.

The aircraft come from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing and were the third, fourth and fifth new aircraft delivered to the airline in 2011 to help them with fleet growth.
