新規原子炉建設プロジェクトならびにプラント・サービス拡大に向け競争力を強化
GE（会長兼CEO：ジェフリー R. イメルト）と株式会社日立製作所（執行役社長：古川 一夫 以下、日立）は、昨年11月の原子力事業における世界的な戦略的提携に関する合意に基づき、世界の新規原子炉プロジェクトの受注に向け、世界で最も包括的な原子力発電所、および関連サービスを提供する新会社の設立を進めてまいりました。この度、グローバル事業を担う新会社の設立を完了いたしましたので、お知らせいたします。
グローバル事業を担う新会社は「GE-日立ニュークリア・エナジー」で、本日から事業を開始し、日本を除く世界各国で事業を展開していきます。同社は、GEが60％、日立が40％の株式を保有し、GEの現幹部役員が主導します。
また、日本においては、「日立GEニュークリア・エナジー」が、2007年7月1日に設立を予定しています。同社は、日立が80.01％、GEが19.99％の株式を保有し、日立の現幹部役員が主導します。GEと日立はアドバイザリ・コミッティを設置します。
