GE Announces New President & CEO of Europe

Paris - Jan 17, 2018 - GE (NYSE: GE) today announces the appointment of Peter Stracar as President & CEO of GE’s European region. He succeeds Mark Hutchinson who announced his retirement from GE effective Jan 1. Peter will report to Alex Dimitrief, President & CEO of GE’s Global Growth Organization (GGO).
 

Prior to his current role, Peter has been the CEO of GE Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) since 2013, responsible for GE’s growth strategy and leading a team of more than 20,000 people across manufacturing, sourcing, sales and other functions.

GILES, UK, 11 January 2018 - GE Healthcare announced today the approval in Canada of DaTscan™ (Ioflupane I 123 Injection), the first Health Canada approved radiopharmaceutical adjunct imaging agent to help physicians evaluate patients with a suspected parkinsonian syndrome (PS) such as Parkinson’s disease (PD), multiple system atrophy (MSA) and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). DaTscan is unable to discriminate between PD, MSA and PSP.
