2007-08 Report, Investing & Delivering in Citizenship, Summarizes Key Global Economic Issues
FAIRFIELD, Conn.--24 July 2008-- GE today released its fourth annual Citizenship Report, entitled Investing and Delivering in Citizenship. The 2007-2008 report, which covers GE's worldwide operations for the 2007 fiscal year, reviews GE's citizenship from the perspective of four key themes -- energy and climate change, demographics, growth markets and financial markets.
STAMFORD, Conn.--09 July 2008-- With a goal of investing $6 billion in renewable energy by 2010, GE Energy Financial Services surpassed the $4 billion mark today by investing in New York State's three newest wind farms. The unit of GE (NYSE: GE) will invest a total of $100 million in the three wind farms, whose construction began last month.
