June 30, 2004 -- EVENDALE, Ohio - Continental Airlines has ordered 35 Performance Improvement Program (PIP) upgrade kits for the GE90-90B engines powering its Boeing 777 fleet.

June 22, 2004 -- EVENDALE, Ohio - GE Marine reported that its LM2500 aeroderivative gas turbine will power the Royal Australian Navy's (RAN) eighth ANZAC-class frigate, Nuship Ballarat. The frigate was recently delivered to the RAN during a ceremony in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia.
