2016년 11월 9일, 부산- GE항공의 마린 가스터빈 사업부(대표: 브라이언 볼싱어)는 오늘 LPG 추진 페리선 개발 협력을 위한 다자간 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 밝혔다. 새롭게 개발되는 페리선의 추진을 포함한 동력 공급을 위해 가볍고 크기가 작은 GE가스터빈 기반의 ‘COGES 시스템 (Combined Gas turbine Electric & Steam, 가스터빈과 스팀터빈을 조합한 복합발전 전기추진 방식)’이 장착된다.
MOU체결식에는 구범수 영성글로벌 사장, 하헌수 딘텍 이사, 홍준석 대한LPG 협회장, 커비 루크 GE 항공 전무, 인정강 극동선박설계 사장, 김대성 크리오스 대표 등이 참여했다.

Ahead of a competitive field, Australian companies have been selected to undertake the majority of component repairs for the Pacific region from next decade. Australia will serve as the repair and maintenance hub for the Pacific region.
SHANNON, Ireland, 20 October 2016 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced delivery of a new, leased Airbus A320neo to Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras S/A to expand and modernize the carrier’s fleet.
The Airbus A320neo aircraft, powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines, is the first of eight scheduled for delivery to Azul by the end of 2019. All eight are part of GECAS’ existing order book with Airbus. CFM International is a joint venture between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines.

AEMTC作为一个合作机构，由CFM、中国民航局（CAAC）、中国航材进出口集团公司（CASGC）、中国民航飞行学院（CAFUC）以及GE航空集团和赛峰飞机发动机共同成立于1994年。该中心于1996年正式开业，迄今已为大中华区及其它亚洲国家的用户培训了13,000多名技术人员。
