Shannon, Ireland - May 18, 2017 - A leading provider of air cargo transportation, Kalitta Air took delivery of the first of two leased 747-400F factory freighters from GECAS today, marking a new milestone in the decade-long relationship of the two companies. While GECAS has previously provided debt financing to Kalitta on several 747-400’s (both factory and converted freighters), this delivery is the first aircraft on lease to Kalitta from GECAS, adding capacity to Kalitta Air’s existing fleet of more than 15 widebody freighters.
SHANNON, Ireland, May 4, 2017 - GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) recently delivered Star Air’s first factory-built Boeing 767-300ERF, powered by GE CF6 engines. A second similar aircraft is scheduled for delivery later this year. Both aircraft were previously operated by LATAM Airlines.
Star Air, a Danish cargo airline part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, currently operates eleven 767-200Fs and one 767-300SF.

(HCC) to Hyundai Commercial, Affinity Equity Partners, GIC and AlpInvest to exit its entire 43% ownership in HCC. Hyundai Card Co. is a joint venture between GE and Hyundai that issues credit cards in the South Korean market.

Shannon Ireland, January 4, 2017 - Boeing (NYSE: BA) and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric (NYSE: GE), announced today an order for 75 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The order, booked in December, has an approximate value of $8.25 billion at list prices. The follow-on order increases the GECAS firm order book for the 737 MAX to 170 airplanes, the largest of any aircraft leasing company.
