ABMet is a patented biological water treatment system that uses naturally occurring microbes to reduce the amounts of selenium and other metals that can escape from coal mines and power plants and enter U.S. freshwater supplies.

Constellation Energy Nuclear Group Awards Global Nuclear Fuel with Fuel Services Contract for New York's Nine Mile Point Facility

WILMINGTON, N.C.--26 May 2011-- Global Nuclear Fuel-Americas (GNF-A) has announced it has received a $300 million dollar contract from Baltimore, Md.-based Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, LLC (CENG) to supply fuel and associated engineering reload licensing services to the utility's Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station in central New York.

"This is an important project for CENG as our Nine Mile Point facility produces electricity safely and reliably," said Brew Barron, president and CEO of CENG. "Global Nuclear Fuel is a key partner in our efforts."
