GEH to Provide Exelon's Stations in Illinois, Pennsylvania and New Jersey with Full Portfolio of Outage Services, Including Maintenance, Inspection and Fuel Reload Engineering
WILMINGTON, N.C.---August 29, 2011---GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) today announced it has been awarded a nearly $150 million integrated outage contract by Illinois-based Exelon Nuclear to help ensure the continued, safe performance of the utility's entire fleet of boiling water reactor (BWR) nuclear power plants in Illinois, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
