～欧州心臓病学会（ESC）2019にて発表～
【東京 2019年9月3日】 一般財団法人平成紫川会 小倉記念病院（所在地：福岡県北九州市 病院長：永田泉、以下 小倉記念病院）とGEヘルスケア・ジャパン株式会社（本社：東京都日野市、代表取締役社長兼CEO：多田荘一郎、以下 GEヘルスケア）の間で、2018年8月に開始したAI （人工知能）技術を活用した冠動脈内腔自動検出の実現に向けた共同研究の成果について、2019年9月1日（日本時間9月2日）、小倉記念病院 循環器内科 山地杏平部長は、欧州心臓病学会（ESC）2019の中で、本共同研究により、AIの活用によって全自動ですべての冠動脈内腔を速やかに同定することが可能となったこと、臨床現場での早期実用化の展望について報告しました。
SYDNEY- August 9, 2019 –GE Healthcare, Fujitsu Australia, Macquarie University and Macquarie Medical Imaging today announced announced a new research collaboration to diagnose and monitor brain aneurysms on scans faster and more efficiently using artificial intelligence (AI) .
The project has already received a Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) grant of AU$2.1M from the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.
The opening of a new $11.5m biotech production and training facility at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has been welcomed by government and industry leaders who say fostering and keeping local talent in the burgeoning Life Sciences sector is key to building a globally competitive industry.
At the facility launch today, UTS Vice-Chancellor Professor Attila Brungs said the Biologics Innovation Facility (BIF) is a great example of industry, government and university collaboration to drive the jobs of the future in an emerging industry.
