GE パワーコンバージョンは、宮崎県の「パシフィコ・エナジー細江メガソーラープロジェクト」において、太陽光発電所向けに当社の1.26MW（メガワット）のブリリアンス*ソーラー・インバータを正式に50基受注しました。当社で開発したインバータを導入することで、中間変圧器が不要となり、高い変換効率と優れたグリッドのパフォーマンスを提供していきます。また、インバータの供給にともない、当社は20年間の長期サービス契約（LTSA）も締結しました。このサービス契約に基づき、20年間にわたりインバータが最適なレベルで確実に稼働できるように保守を全面的にサポートしていきます。
細江太陽光発電所は、宮崎県宮崎市細江の140万平方メートルの土地に建設中の出力96.2MWの太陽光発電施設です。今年の3月に着工し、2018年までに商業運転を開始する予定です。完成すると、九州最大規模の発電所となります。発電されるクリーンエネルギーは3万世帯分の消費電力量に匹敵し、年間6万8200トンのCO2削減が可能になります。
