U.S. Army Extends GE Contract Valued At $78 Million in 2002
EVENDALE, Ohio--January 16, 2001--The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) and the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) at Corpus Christi, Texas, have signed a four-year extension of the teaming agreement with GE Aircraft Engines to supply helicopter engine parts and technical services. The contract extension covers calendar years 2002 through 2005. The 2002 award to GE Aircraft Engines (GEAE) is valued at $78 million.
