GE Declares Increased Quarterly Dividend and Marks 27 Consecutive Years of Dividend Growth

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2002--The Board of Directors of GE today declared an increased quarterly dividend of $0.19 per outstanding share of its common stock.
The dividend increase of 6%, from $0.18 per share, was approved in late November and marks GE's 27th consecutive annual increase. GE has paid a quarterly dividend without interruption since 1899.
The dividend is payable January 27, 2003, to shareowners of record on December 31, 2002. The ex-dividend date is December 27.

The products and associated services supplied to ChevronTexaco's global facilities by GE will distribute, protect, and control electric power as well as drive critical production and refining processes.

EADS selected a derivative of GE's F414-GE-400 fighter engine, which powers the U.S. Navy's F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, for the Definition Phase of the Mako single-engine aircraft family.

December 3, 2002 -- EVENDALE, Ohio - GE Aircraft Engines has delivered to Lockheed Martin the first F110-GE-132 engine, the highest-thrust fighter engine ever developed for the F-16 aircraft.
The F110-GE-132, which can produce up to 32,500 pounds of thrust (144 kN), is derived from GE's highly successful F110 engine family, which powers the majority of F-16C/Ds worldwide. The F110-GE-132 engine development was launched in 2000 with its selection for 80 Lockheed Martin F-16C/D Block 60 aircraft by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force and Air Defense.
