GE Appoints Seven Company Officers

FAIRFIELD, Conn., August 19, 2010 -- GE today announces the appointment of seven new company officers. GE currently has 199 GE officers globally. GE officers lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Below are details on GE's seven new officers:

Joseph Anis, 39, has been appointed vice president of the Middle East for GE Energy. Anis has held several roles leading major sales initiatives in the Middle East and Africa throughout his 13 years at GE.
