GE Inspires Malaysia's Next Generation of Innovators

Kuala Lumpur, 7 September 2012 -- General Electric (GE) recently organized chaperoned tours for two groups of students from SMK Seri Desa, Tanjung Karang and SMK Bandar Baru Ampang around GE Engine Services Malaysia's (GEESM) premises and Petrosains respectively.

The tours were held in conjunction with the second phase of Teach For Malaysia (TFM) Week, which is aimed at inspiring students through workplace visits and tours to provide a boost of motivation for students by giving them insights into real-life work experiences.

Kuala Lumpur, 14 Aug 2012 -- General Electric (GE) celebrated the gift of giving with over 250 GE employees as they distributed food packages for orphanages in Ulu Kelang and Shah Alam on Friday, 10 August. The event was held at GE's aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul centre, General Electric Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM), in Subang.

Guests savoured an array of tantalizing dishes for buka puasa, including traditional Raya food such as dodol, lemang and bubur lambuk.
