February 2016 - PKN Orlen's gas and steam unit in Włocławek has successfully implemented its first synchronization with the Polish national grid. This was made possible with GE’s ‘Power Train’ and, as a result, the first deliveries of electricity from the new CCGT plant went to the grid.

September 2015 - GE has provided PGE with 16 of its 2.5-100 wind turbines to power the new Karwice Wind Farm, located 15 kilometers from Darłowo. The turbines have the capacity to produce a total power output of 40 MW, which could provide the equivalent power needed for 35,000 European homes. The wind farm cost €68.7 million, and was co-financed by EU.
