GE Renewable Energy scores Serbian date for 105 MW

  • 105MW Blacksmith "Kovačica" wind farm set to become Serbia's third largest
  • Will produce enough electricity to power the equivalent of 65,000 homes
  • Represents 1/5 of Serbia’s 500 MW wind energy targets for 2020

Amsterdam, November 29, 2017 - GE Renewable Energy announced today an agreement to provide 38 turbines for the Blacksmith "Kovačica" wind farm. The 105MW wind site is set to be built in the Vojvodina region North East of Serbia and will be operated by Enlight Renewable Energy.

Якутская ГРЭС-2 на базе газотурбинных установок GE введена в эксплуатацию

ЯКУТСК, Россия, 28 ноября 2017 г - На Якутской ГРЭС-2 (ЯГРЭС-2) состоялся торжественный ввод в эксплуатацию двух энергоблоков на базе четырех газотурбинных установок LM6000 компании GE. ЯГРЭС-2 будет обеспечивать энергоснабжение центрального энергорайона республики, а также теплоснабжение г.Якутска. Особенностью электростанции является ее расположение в экстремальных природно-климатических условиях, в зоне вечной мерзлоты, с годовым перепадом температур около 100 градусов Цельсия. Электрическая мощность новой станции составляет 193 МВт, тепловая - 469 Гкал/ч.

Ural Works of Civil Aviation (UWCA), of Ekaterinburg, Russia, signed an agreement with GE Aviation to become an H Series Authorized Service Center (ASC). UGZA will provide MRO services including line maintenance, training and on-wing heavy repairs on GE H Series turboprop engines from their home location.
