Printing Heads: 3D Printing Has Launched A New Era In Aircraft Design
Just a decade ago, the idea of 3D printing metal parts directly from a computer file seemed like science fiction to many people. But the technology is quickly growing up. There are few better examples of its promise than the GE Catalyst, a new advanced turboprop engine GE Aviation started testing in December.
More than 150 company and purchasing managers and owners participated in the Supplier Forum aiming to inform and prepare Hungarian SMEs on how to become suppliers of global companies such as GE, aiming to increase its procurement value. Currently the company purchases goods and services for over 900 million USD in Hungary, which it aims to increase significantly.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands - 14 March 2018 - GE Renewable Energy Business has appointed Duncan Berry as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LM Wind Power. He will succeed Marc de Jong, CEO since June 2015, who will leave the company at the end of April 2018.
Duncan Berry was appointed to his current role as LM Integration Leader in September 2016. He is presently responsible for all aspects of integrating LM into GE following acquisition in April 2017.
