AMMAN, JORDAN; JUNE 3, 2007 -- GE Healthcare, in association with the Arab Medical and Scientific Alliance (AMSA), has installed Jordan's first-ever fully integrated and digital radiology workflow system at the Al Khalidi Medical Centre (KMC) to meet the massive increase in radiology patient data and images.

他同时也表示了对在中国发展金融服务业的乐观："我们需要在这里建立一个操作平台，而这一切现在尚在发展初期。"
伊梅尔特在5月28日至30日访问北京期间，会见了中国国务院副总理曾培炎，并出席了GE与中国商务部的备忘录签订仪式。在备忘录中，双方表示将共同为促进中美两国间的合作和贸易平衡而努力。GE将通过与商务部的合作项目向中国提供先进的产品、技术以及管理经验，合作将涉及医疗、航空、能源、环境保护、水处理、铁路、核能、金融、及贸易服务等诸多领域。

CHICAGO -- GE Antares Capital today announced it provided a senior secured credit facility in the recapitalization of TASI led by private equity firms ClearLight Partners and Black Canyon Capital. As part of the transaction, Industrial Growth Partners, the former majority shareholder, and TASI management will continue to have an equity stake in the Company. ClearLight Partners and Black Canyon provided both equity and mezzanine financing in the transaction.
