GE Transportation Delivers Yard Automation System to Canadian National Railways

Memphis, Tenn. April 29, 2009 -- GE Transportation, a unit of the General Electric Company (NYSE: GE), announced today that it has delivered and equipped six LOCOTROLÒ remote control locomotive (RCL) systems for Canadian National Railways (CN) at its Johnson Yard in Memphis, Tenn.

LOCOTROL RCL enables improved efficiency of yard operations while providing an increased level of operator control. The system can decrease yard movements and improve interchange management for increased network velocity.

GECAS announces delivery of new Embraer 190 to Aero Republica

STAMFORD, CT, USA April 29, 2009. -- GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) today announced the delivery of a new Embraer 190 LR to Aero Republica to help the carrier's fleet expansion.  

The aircraft comes from GECAS' existing order book with Embraer and is one of seven aircraft GECAS currently leases to the airline. Aero Republica, based in Bogotá, Colombia, currently operates a fleet of 15 aircraft.

STAMFORD, CT, USA April  29, 2009. -- GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) today announced the delivery of a new Airbus A320-214 to Iberworld Airlines, the first of three new aircraft to deliver this year to Iberworld to help the carrier's fleet development .

The aircraft comes from GECAS' existing order book with Airbus and is one of five aircraft GECAS currently leases to the airline.   Iberworld Airlines, based in Palma de Mallorca, currently operates a fleet of 11 aircraft.
