BOSTON - 24 August 2018: GE (NYSE: GE) today announced that it received notice of an unsolicited "mini-tender" offer by Ponos Industries LLC (Ponos Industries) to purchase up to 32,142,857 shares of GE common stock, which represents approximately 0.37% of the shares outstanding, at a price of $13.90 per share in cash.
GE does not endorse Ponos Industries’ unsolicited mini-tender offer and recommends that GE shareholders do not tender their shares in the offer.
Farnborough UK, 17 July 2018 - GECAS and Boeing [NYSE:BA] announced today that they have reached an agreement for 35 additional 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow.
The deal, which includes 20 firm orders and an option for 15 more, would take GECAS’ 737-800BCF order book from 15 to 50 and enable GECAS to serve the growing express air cargo market.
Beijing, China - July 16, 2018 - Following the delivery last week of Okay Airways’ first leased Boeing 737 MAX 8, GECAS signed another contract with Okay Airways for the purchase-and-leaseback with pre-delivery payment financing of two Boeing 737 MAX 8s. The aircraft, fitted with CFM LEAP-1B engines, are scheduled for delivery in July and September 2019.
Dublin, Ireland - July 16, 2018 - Milestone Aviation Group Limited (“Milestone”), a GECAS company and the global leader in helicopter leasing, and Leonardo today announce they have been selected to renew the medium helicopter fleet of Aramco Overseas Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco (“Aramco”) - a fully integrated, global petroleum and chemicals enterprise. Leonardo and Milestone have signed a contract for 17 Leonardo AW139 helicopters plus 4 options, and Aramco expects to take delivery of a total of 21 aircraft over the next three years, starting this year.
