EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio --- Sept. 26, 2013 --- (NYSE:GE) --- Earlier this year, the glamorous Westin Lima Hotel in Peru decided to renew its lighting system by adopting new LED lighting from GE Lighting.
GE Capital today announced that it had provided Pental Ltd, Australia's largest soap manufacturer and manufacturer of iconic household brands such as Sunlight, Velvet and White King, with a $15 million financing facility.
The deal will help Pental execute on its strategic business plan involving brand expansion through product innovation, new sales channel development and private label manufacturing for major retailers.
DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA---September 25, 2013---GE (NYSE: GE) has signed a 74,000 sq meters land lease agreement with the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON). More than 50 percent of the land, which is located in Dammam 2nd Industrial City, is intended to be utilized initially by GE's Oil & Gas business to build an advanced GE Oil & Gas Manufacturing Facility. The planned new facility will be part of the US$1 billion investment commitment to the Kingdom announced by GE last year.
