Effective September 1, Nobuhiko Ito, 55, will assume the position as President, CEO and Representative Director of GE Edison Life. Ito will be elected to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company at the upcoming Shareholder's meeting on July 19. Nobuhiko Ito has been president of GE Yokogawa Medical Systems Ltd. since 1999.

In $250 Million Engine Order EVENDALE, OHIO--June 26, 2002--KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has selected GE Aircraft Engines to power 13 new Boeing widebody aircraft.
As part of a fleet renewal program, KLM ordered GE's GE90-94B engine to power four 777-200ER aircraft. KLM is also leasing six GE90-powered 777-200ER aircraft through International Lease Finance Corporation. In addition, KLM ordered GE's CF6-80C2 engines to power three Boeing 747-400ER freighters.
