WAUKESHA, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 2003--GE Medical Systems, a unit of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), today announced that its Senographe 2000D is the first and only full field digital mammography system eligible to receive Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR). The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the ACR to accredit the GE Senographe 2000D units beginning February 15, 2003.
