It is one of six projects that are part of a previously announced $900 million agreement for GE to supply gas turbine-based combined-cycle systems for China's Gas Turbine Power Plants Construction Project.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (December 29, 2003) --- GE Power Systems has signed a contract to provide power generation equipment for the Lanzhou Meiya Cogeneration project in Lanzhou, People's Republic of China. The signing, held recently at the Chicago Board of Trade, was witnessed by Liao Xiao Qi, Vice Minister of Commerce and head of the electrical machinery procurement delegation from China.

EASA oversees regulatory tasks in the field of aviation safety for the European Union, which represents 16 countries and grows to 26 countries in 2004. The EASA approval follows the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) engine certification of the GE90-115B in July 2003.

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2003--LESCO, Inc. (LESCO) and GE Business Credit Services, the commercial arm of GE Consumer Finance, recently signed an exclusive agreement to provide receivables management and marketing solutions to LESCO customers, including an open account trade credit program and a revolving credit program.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (December 17, 2003) --- GE Power Systems and Brush Electrical Machines Limited of the U.K. have announced a five-year agreement naming GE as the exclusive service provider for Brush turbogenerators powered by GE gas turbines installed in North America.
BELFORT, FRANCE (December 16, 2003) --- GE Power Systems shipped its first uprated Frame 6FA gas turbine (model PG6111FA) in November, for the expansion of an existing cogeneration plant in Stadtwerke Duisburg, Duisburg-Wanheim, Germany. A second uprated 6FA will be shipped to the site in December.
