NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2006--GE Antares Capital today announced it is the agent for a $72-million credit facility to support the acquisition of PHI by The Hygenic Corp., a portfolio company of Baird Capital Partners ("Baird"). GE Capital Markets served as the sole lead arranger for the credit facility.
WILMINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2006--GE Energy's (NYSE: GE) nuclear business has signed an exclusive agreement with Silex Systems Limited, an Australia-based technology innovator, to license the technology and develop the company's next generation low enriched uranium manufacturing process in the United States.
The transaction is subject to, among other things, governmental approvals and regulatory controls on the design, construction and operation of the process.
