أعلنت "جنرال إلكتريك GE" اليوم عن تعيين سبعة مسؤولين تنفيذيين جدد في الشركة، من بينهم جوزيف أنيس، الذي شغل عدد من المناصب الرفيعة في الشركة على مدى 13 عاماً، قام خلالها بإدارة عدد من أهم مبادرات الأعمال التي أطلقتها GE Energy في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
يتولى المسؤولون في "جنرال إلكتريك" إدارة أعمال ذات عائدات كبيرة وتقع على عاتقهم مسؤوليات هامة تساهم بدور محوري في تعزيز نمو أعمال الشركة. ولدى "جنرال إلكتريك" حالياً 199 مسؤولاً إدارياً حول العالم.
GE announces 'mentorship prize' for innovators and inventors
In recognition of the invaluable contribution entrepreneurship plays in economic development, General Electric (GE) joined hands with Maker Faire Africa 2010 as the lead sponsor for this year's event to be held at the University of Nairobi on the 27th and 28th of August 2010.
Among the seven new officers is Joseph Anis, who has held several roles leading major business initiatives for GE Energy in the Middle East and Africa throughout his 13 years at GE.
GE officers lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth. GE currently has 199 GE officers globally.

GE announced second-quarter 2010 earnings from continuing operations (attributable to GE) of $3.3 billion, with EPS of $0.30 per share up 15% from the second quarter of 2009.

Latest Projects to Help Avoid Power Shortages in the Region
Baghdad, Iraq; February 17, 2010 -- GE (NYSE:GE) today announced the signing of contracts totaling approximately US$200 million to supply power generation equipment and services for two independent power projects in the Kurdistan region of Northern Iraq.
