Paris, April 4th 2017 - GE Renewable Energy announces that the first nacelle (out of 66) that will be part of the Merkur Offshore windfarm has recently left the assembly line. According to planning, this nacelle will be stored at GE’s Saint-Nazaire (France) site while new ones continue to be manufactured, and then be shipped to our logistical operations hub in Eemshaven (Netherlands) where the installation process will start in spring 2018.
