SHANNON, Ireland, April 27, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft leased to TUI Airlines Nederland B.V. operating as Arkefly, a wholly owned unit of TUI Travel PLC. The aircraft comes from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing.
Based in the Netherlands, Arkefly currently operates mostly charter flights to some 33 destinations with a fleet of seven aircraft.
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, April, 19, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced the signing of lease agreements with Stockholm-based Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) for the delivery of five new Boeing 737-800 aircraft and twelve used Boeing 737-700 aircraft. ISTANBUL, TURKEY, April 7, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced the signing of a sale-leaseback agreement with Istanbul-based Pegasus Airlines for the delivery of four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Deliveries are all scheduled for this month.
Pegasus, a scheduled and charter operator, is the second largest airline in Turkey, serving 100 destinations in 17 countries
SEATTLE, March 30, 2011 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) finalized an order for 10 777-300ER (extended range) airplanes. The order is worth approximately $2.8 billion at list prices. The new 777-300ERs will help GECAS meet growing airline demand for long-haul passenger airplanes.

SHANGHAI, March 28, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of two new Boeing 737-86N aircraft leased to Xiamen Airlines. Both aircraft come from GECAS' existing order book with Boeing.
Xiamen currently operates a fleet of 71 aircraft to more than 150 destinations.

SHANNON, Ireland, February 25, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced the delivery of a new Airbus A320 to Air Berlin as part of a purchase and leaseback transaction.
Air Berlin, the third-largest low-cost airline in Europe, operates a fleet of 170 aircraft to more than 168 destinations in 40 countries.
Sao Paulo, Brazil, February 16, 2011 -- GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced two new transactions with AVIANCA TACA involving 16 Airbus aircraft.
GECAS signed a purchase and leaseback transaction for two new Airbus A330-200s and four new Airbus A320s. The aircraft are part of AVIANCA TACA's existing order book with Airbus. Two of the A320s will be operated by Taca, the remainder will be operated by Avianca. Additionally, GECAS has leased 10 Airbus A318s to Avianca.
Henry A. Hubschman, who had a distinguished career in law, government and business, died of cancer at the age of 63 in his Greenwich, Connecticut home on February 9, 2011. In the last twenty years of his life, he was a senior lawyer and then senior business executive at GE, beginning his career with the company as General Counsel of its Aircraft Engines division in 1992.
