Indonesia, April 25th, 2013 --- American donut franchise Dunkin' Donuts' flagship store in Indonesia will lead the way in green lighting by being the first of its franchise outlets in Southeast Asia to employ a complete LED solution. The Palembang store is the 300th outlet, and the largest, for Dunkin' Donuts in the country, with a seating capacity of 200 and serving a continuous stream of customers daily.
GE announced first-quarter 2013 operating earnings of $4.1 billion, or $0.39 per share, up 14% and 15% respectively from the first quarter of 2012.

New GE Lights Result in Yearly Savings of US$300,000
GE Lighting together with its' OEM partner DEG Industrial has replaced 1,470 sets of halide lamps at Malaysia's MASkargo Advance Cargo Centre with its Hi-Beam T5 High Bay system using GE's technologically advanced system, a solution tailored for industrial vertical. The new lights significantly raised the level of illumination while generating a 50% reduction in energy usage. GE's more energy-efficient solution, coupled with reduced maintenance, will result in savings totaling an estimated US$300,000 per year.
GE's LED solution is the choice illumination for external environment and signage for Malaysia's premier residential development D'Island Residence by LBS Bina Group. The GE lighting solution brings quality lighting to the development while offering reduced costs and a lowered environmental impact.
