Singapore -- November 17, 2012 -- General Electric ("GE") today hosted Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Ambassador David Adelman at one of its major global aviation facilities in Singapore.
As part of a broader regional visit, Secretary of State Clinton, met with GE executives and toured GE Aviation's Airfoil Technologies International (ATI) facility near Singapore's Changi International Airport.
GE announced third-quarter 2012 Operating Earnings of $3.8 billion, or $0.36 per share, up 10% and 50% respectively from the third quarter of 2011.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- March 9, 2012-- GE [NYSE: GE] today announced that its 2011 annual report entitled "GE Works" is now available on the Company's website at www.ge.com/ar2011.
"Culture is the foundation for any successful enterprise," GE Chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt writes in his letter to shareholders. "GE is a 'We Company', not a 'Me Company'."
GE announced fourth-quarter 2011 Operating Earnings of $4.1 billion, or $0.39 per share, up 6% and 11% respectively from the fourth-quarter of 2010. Revenues were $38.0 billion for the quarter and $147.3 billion for the year. Record Infrastructure orders of $28.6 billion in the fourth quarter enabled GE to end the year with a backlog of $200 billion, the largest in its history.
GE Global Research, the central technology development arm for GE Healthcare and all of GE's businesses, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore's Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). This agreement will focus on advancing current medical imaging technologies and diagnostics to enable more accurate, earlier and faster clinical diagnoses of cancer and other diseases.
GE announced third-quarter 2011 operating earnings of $3.4 billion, or $0.31 per share, up 11%, from the third quarter of 2010 (excluding effects of the preferred redemption).
