Al-Quds Facility Near Baghdad Plays a Key Role in Helping to Meet the Country's Growing Energy Needs
BAGHDAD, IRAQ---November 23, 2010---GE (NYSE: GE) has signed a contract with Iraq's Ministry of Electricity to supply an advanced fuel oil treatment technology, FuelSolv, to help enhance the reliability and productivity of the Al-Quds power plant on the outskirts of Baghdad.

GE announced third-quarter 2010 earnings from continuing operations (attributable to GE) of $3.2 billion, with EPS of $0.29 per share up 32% from the third quarter of 2009.
