The Cape Cod Air Force Facility is located on Flatrock Hill at the Joint Base Cape Cod. There are two 1.5 megawatt (MW) and two 1.68 MW General Electric wind turbines on site. The two 1.5 MW wind turbines, combined with a 1.5 MW Fuhrlaender wind turbine, offset 100% of the power used by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center - making it the first cleanup program to be completely powered by renewable energy. The two 1.68 MW wind turbines are used to offset the power used by the Air Force Space Command radar facility known as PAVE PAWS.
