7F advanced gas path (AGP)
7F AGP is a set of gas turbine upgrade solutions that can be customized to reliably provide various levels of increased output and efficiency for your plant based on your operating profile.
GE's 7F AGP upgrades help deliver significantly increased output that is more efficient, reliable, and flexible, to adapt to a changing energy mix and the transition to a cleaner energy future.
The hardware- and software-blended set of solutions allow customers to unleash the full performance of their existing 7F gas turbine based on their desired outcomes.
130 years of thermal engineering experience
>100 million hours of operating data
500+ AGP upgrades installed
Many power producers have specific goals, which can include the challenge of adapting to a changing power grid with ever-increasing renewable generation and fast retiring coal generation. This may mean a need for increased dispatchable plant capacity and widened emissions compliant operational range to reliably backstop intermittent, non-dispatchable renewables, and/or improved heat rate and increased output for more efficient high capacity factor power generation in day-ahead and real-time energy markets. The 7F AGP is a set of solutions that can be configured to achieve the specific level of performance you need to solve the challenges you face in meeting both your current and future power generation goals.
Choose the solution that aligns with your plant and specific goals.
The right package depends on existing equipment, balance of plant constraints, and operating budget, and GE Vernova is happy to work with you to find custom solutions to meet your needs.
