With approximately 1 million new customers expected within the next five years, Naturgy Energy Group partnered with GE to increase efficiency and output at the Fuerza y Energía de Tuxpan power plant in Veracruz, Mexico; GE implemented its cross-fleet solutions to increase output by 9.2% and improve efficiency by 2.9%.
The Techint Norte III plant, a 907 MW plant located in Ciudad Juárez, in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, came online in June 2020; it uses four GE 7F.04 gas turbines paired with four GE H33 generators and two steam turbines from Toshiba; it will be maintained and operated by GE for the next 25 years.
The intstallation of GE's 9HA.01 gas turbine at the Central Puerto power plant in Buenos Aires, Argentina will cost-effectively and sustainably deliver 760 MW of electricity to the Buenos Aires community; the implementation of Predix, GE’s advanced cloud-based operating system, will support Central Puerto’s goal of providing reliability, efficiency, and availability to its customers.
The expansion of Termoyopal plant with three new GE LM6000 aeroderivative gas turbines will help increase the total power plant’s reliability and efficiency; the plant will deliver approximately 2% of the national power.
Powered by GE’s most advanced 6F gas turbine technology, the new 90 MW block will generate power and steam to increase the efficiency of one the largest petrochemical complexes in Argentina and Latin America.
