About the Speakers:

Marie-Pierre Belanger

Marie-Pierre Belanger is the Vice President, Digital Solutions responsible for the new Pitney Bowes Industrial Internet solution. Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, Marie-Pierre worked in a diversity of companies in product management roles such as Energy Metrics a startup developing data centers condition based maintenance and energy monitoring solution. She also worked at Smarts (acquired by EMC corporation) now Dell leading the enterprise network root cause analysis monitoring solution. She previously held roles at OpTier (acquired by SAP) on web transaction monitoring solutions, SANpulse (a startup in the SAN storage migration services), and more recently CrossCap (a marketing cloud-based platform for large retailers). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University Laval in Quebec Canada and a Master's Degree in Human Factor in UIX Information Design from Bentley College in Massachusetts.

Akanksha Manik Talya

Akanksha Manik Talya is currently Director of GE Digital's Global Foundry Strategy and Operations. She joined in GE in March 2016 to lead the global development of GE's Global Foundries with a mission to incubate industrial internet startup companies, collaborate with customers on co-creation and to extend and promote GE¹s international developer ecosystem. Prior to joining GE Digital, Ms. Talya has over 10 years of management consulting experience advising technology companies on driving digital, operating model, culture and organizational transformations.

Ms. Talya has an MBA from Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia, and has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from India.

Matt Mattox, GE Digital

Matt Mattox is the VP of Industry Solutions at GE Digital. Mr. Mattox has a background of building enterprise software companies from concept to scale. Most recently, Mr. Mattox co-founded an IoT healthcare technology firm backed by the Mayo Clinic and Canaan Partners. Previously, Mr. Mattox held leadership positions at Red Hat, MIT Technology Review, and idealab!.

Mr. Mattox has degrees from Clemson University and Harvard University.
