Configure Security Credentials for a User

About this task

Note: You can edit a user's security credentials at a later time from either the S95 Model Editor or from the Security Editor.

Procedure

In the navigator, click Personnel > People.
In the People list, select the user you want to configure security credentials for.
In the Displays panel, click S95 Model Editor.
Click the Details tab.
Optional: In the Full Name field, enter the user's name.
This name is for informational purposes in electronic signatures only. It is not a unique identifier and is not used for security credentials.
Click Create Account.
The Credentials area expands, displaying further input fields
In the Login Name field, enter a unique user name for the user you are configuring.
In the Password field, enter the password for the user you are configuring.
In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password.
Optional: In the Email field, enter the e-mail address of the user you are configuring.
Click Save.
This user is now active.
