Configure access to specific equipment instance details

You can configure your environment to allow members of certain personnel groups to view the details of only specific equipment instances or levels of the equipment hierarchy from the S95 Model Editor.

About this task

  • When group members have permissions on an equipment instance, they also have the equivalent permission on its child instances.
  • When group members try to access levels of the equipment hierarchy that they do not have the Read Equipment permission for, a message is displayed in the S95 Model Editor stating that the user does not have permission to view the details of that equipment.
Note: Any changes you make to a group's key sets take effect the next time the members of the group log in.
