Completing Operations

Operators can use two methods to mark their operations as completed.

If you have completed operations that have no tasks associated with them, you can mark each operation as Complete on the Operations summary page. For operations that do have tasks, or where you need to enter additional information, you can mark the operations as Complete on the Operation Details page.
  1. If necessary, search for one or more of your operations.
  2. For operations without tasks:
    1. On the Operations summary page, click the Complete button for each completed operation.
  3. For operations with tasks or other data to be completed on the Details page:
    1. Open an operation to display its details.
    2. Select the Tasks tab and ensure each task is marked as completed.
    3. To record the operation as completed:
      Operation Type Steps
      Serialized
      1. Click the Complete button in the top-right corner.
      2. When the Select Serial Numbers page opens, select the serial numbers for the parts you worked on and click the Complete button in the bottom-right corner.
      Non-serialized
      1. Click Record Quantity.
      2. In the Record Quantity page, enter the number of pieces completed in the Record Quantity field.
      3. Click Clock Off.
Note: You can click the Record Quantity button to record quantities at any time during the operation without clocking off. However, if you have completed the total quantity of the work order, you are automatically clocked off.
  4. To return to the list of operations, click Operations in the breadcrumbs string displayed in the Brilliant Manufacturing banner. The string is persistent on all pages.
