Use Integrated Installer
This topic describes how to use the integrated installer to install Operations Hub.
- Dedicated installer: Enables to install the common components and Operations Hub.
- iFIX or CIMPLICITY installer suite: Enables to install the common components and Operations Hub along with additional Proficy applications.
- It is highly recommended to first install common components (Configuration Hub and Proficy Authentication) followed by any additional product installations. See Install Common Components.
- If installing Operations Hub remotely from Configuration Hub, make sure that the Operations Hub certificate is trusted by Configuration Hub. If not trusted, then the request to load plug-ins gets blocked. See Install the Certificate on your Clients.
For information on licensing, see Understanding Operations Hub Licensing Tiers.
About Upgrading Operations Hub
If Proficy Authentication version is older than Operations Hub version you are upgrading to, then you will be requested to first upgrade or uninstall Proficy Authentication. The request does not appear if Proficy Authentication version is same or greater than Operations Hub upgrade version.
Do not uninstall Proficy Authentication if other Proficy products are using the application. Choose to upgrade to the latest version.
