Overview of the Dataset Editor Page

The Dataset Editor page serves as the main user interface for working with existing datasets and accessing functions associated with them. The Dataset Editor page also appears immediately after you create or import a dataset so that you can modify its content, if desired, and then save it to the Catalog.

The Dataset Editor page is divided into two main menus:

Dataset Editor workspace: Contains a grid that displays the content of a given dataset.
Task menu pane: Contains the Common Tasks and the Other Tasks menus, which provide access to features and functions associated with datasets.
