Query Results

Query results appear when you:

-or-

If you open a saved query using a hyperlink and the query contains prompts, if the URL behind the link contains the appropriate parameter, you will see at the top of the results the possible parameter values, along with a Run Query button and a Stop button. You can select one or more different parameters values by which to limit the results and click the Run Query button to view the results of your selection.

The following links appear at the bottom of the results to help you navigate your search results:

To re-display the Display record count link, you can run the query again.

Note that when you run the query, the text [#] records found appears by default if the number of records found is less than or equal to the number in the Page Size box.

In addition, when viewing the results, you can customize the layout of the results grid. Changes that you make to the grid layout while viewing the results are independent from customizations stored within the query itself. When you save a query when viewing the results, any changes that you have made to the grid layout will be saved as a personal layout for the current user.

You can also copy data from a cell in the results and paste it into a Meridium APM dataset, a cell on any query design grid, or an external location such as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. To copy the data from a cell in the results, highlight the data, and press Ctrl+C on your keyboard, or highlight the data, right-click the cell, and click Copy. You can paste the data by pressing Ctrl+V on your keyboard or by right-clicking the desired location and clicking Paste.
