About Prerequisites

Before you extract data, you must specify the Proficy Historian and/or PI Server tags and their properties whose data you want to extract. You can do this in one of the following methods:

• Creating a tag configuration file manually.
• Specifying tags using a template spreadsheet.
• Specifying tags using a new spreadsheet.
