Trend Control charts that you configure in CimEdit are viewed during runtime in CimView.
Steps to configure the Trend control are as follows.
| Step 1 | Place a Trend Control on a CimEdit screen. |
| Step 2 | Resize a Trend chart. |
| Step 3 | Open the CIMPLICITY Trend Chart Properties dialog box. |
| Step 4 | Add a Trend line. |
| Step 5 | Specify line display features. |
| Step 6 | Configure chart axes. |
| Step 7 | Configure chart properties. |
| Step 8 | Configure Legend properties. |
| Step 9 | Configure grid properties. |
| Step 10 | Configure runtime actions. |
