With increasing demands for higher productivity, quality and uptime, the food and beverage industry is ripe for change and many manufacturers are undergoing digital transformation efforts to bring greater efficiencies to their operations.
In May 2018, we announced a strategic partnership with SIG – a leading provider of packaging systems and solutions for the food and beverage industry – to deploy our Asset Performance Management (APM) software and ServiceMax’s Field Service Management (FSM) solution across its 400 customer factories globally.
Today, we are excited to share SIG’s Plant 360 Asset Management, a co-developed, integrated APM and FSM solution designed to help food and beverage manufacturers better operate, analyze and optimize their assets and processes.
Plant 360 Asset Management is a modular solution designed to improve filling line reliability and availability while controlling costs. By utilizing asset health monitoring, the fully integrated solution allows manufacturers to access real-time data and make informed decisions to improve their overall operations. This module can also be used with SIG’s other Smart Factory solution, Plant 360 Controller, enabling manufacturers to monitor, control and optimize every angle of their filling plant operations.
SIG’s Plant 360 Asset Management is being launched for the first time in the Middle East with Almarai, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest food and beverage producers, as part of its global rollout.
