It is time to start planning your agenda for the 2019 GE Digital User Conference. In addition to insightful customer sessions, this year’s agenda spotlights critical best practices brought to you by leading GE Digital partners. You won’t want to miss these knowledgeable expert sessions including:
Operational data is stuck in silos, making it difficult for Senior VPs to get a quick view on continuous improvement and for operators to know what reports to analyze. This session will reveal a strategy to break down data silos, bringing operations and business insights together in what GrayMatter calls “Industrial Intelligence.”
GE and FacilityConneX have teamed up to bring Internet of Things (IoT) analytics and digital twin technology to commercial buildings and industrial facilities around the world. In this session you will learn how IoT analytics (called VOICES) have driven building energy consumption down by 15% and operational efficiency up by 30%.
Artificial intelligence (AI) will revolutionize industrial automation. But it’s only possible with high-capacity, ultra-low-latency technology that can connect AI-scale inference processing to the factory floor. That’s where new technology like 5G and edge computing are bringing the smart factory to life. In this session, attendees will learn how AI can program industrial robots using machine vision without need for human programmers.
Andy Daecher of Deloitte Consulting is on the leading edge of IoT having led Deloitte Digital’s IoT Practice since 2014. In that role, Andy has built a practice focused on helping industrial clients transform their businesses and generate value through the power of sensors, connected devices, real time data, machine learning, and predictive analytics. In this session, he’ll be sharing his real-world experience creating smart factories at scale.
The plant environment is a very reactive environment with many moving parts. Anyone with experience working in this environment can see the huge need of new innovations to help plants become more efficient. There’s always room for improvement, which is why plants invest a large amount of money every year in new tools to help them save time, save money and become more productive. In this session, we’ll explore new advances in mobility to enable easier, faster ways for plants to interact with plant applications from anywhere.
To optimize efficiency, it is vital for operating control systems that critical alarm information reach operators at any given time, no matter where they are. Remote alarm notification software allows a plant’s functions and alarms to be reported, controlled, managed, and addressed from remote locations not directly connected to a control console or human-machine interface (HMI). This session will focus on best practices of implementing alarm notification solutions to ensure high availability.
Will we see you in Austin?
