As more and more industrial companies move their operational data to the cloud, GE Digital has increased its investment in European cloud infrastructure to expand the commercial availability of its Predix Asset Performance Management (APM) and Predix Essentials solutions.
The agreement between GE Digital and Amazon Web Services (AWS) increases the availability of Predix-enabled applications from the AWS center in Frankfurt, Germany.
The investment allows GE Digital to serve more customers across both Europe and the Middle East, and reflects the growing digital transformation market for Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Chemical processing companies in Europe and the Middle East.
Bringing Results to Mission Critical Industries in Europe
Our expanded GE Digital operations center delivers highly scalable, secure and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant solutions to customers in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and other industries.
