GE signed an MoU with Ministry of Health to co-develop projects for country-wide medical infra assessment. Increase access and quality of basic and diagnostic services of rural health, reduce infant mortality. As part of the partnership with the Ministry of Health, GE to support the Ministry of Health in developing the Healthcare infrastructure. Ge has provided equipment to the national healthcare system, including MRI and ultrasounds which are critical for patient diagnosis.
GE provides services to Hydroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), a hydropower plant with an installed capacity of 2,060 MW. Through its wide range of services, GE Hydro continues to work closely HCB ensuring quality and reliability of plant performance. GE continues to engage with Electricidade de Mocambique (EDM) on future provision of services on their hydropower install base.
