Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) machines

To create components with complex geometries requiring exceptional precision, Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) is the ideal approach. Our Concept Laser DMLM machines work directly from a CAD file and can be tailored to meet specific needs. This process is enhanced through a patented LaserCUSING® technology that combines laser and fusion to create high-precision, mechanically and thermally resilient metallic components layer by layer.

Electron Beam Melting (EBM) machines

Arcam EBM® machines are ideally suited for producing dimensionally accurate parts that need to be created quickly and efficiently. Working in a vacuum using a high-power electron beam for high melting capacity and productivity, the EBM process delivers stress-relieved components with better material properties than casting.

Additive materials

Creating consistently high-quality additive parts always begins with exceptional source material. GE Additive offers decades of metal powder experience and materials science expertise to develop premium powders ideal for multiple applications. AP&C’s proprietary Advanced Plasma Atomization (APA™) process ensures highly spherical particles for unmatched additive-building performance.
