GE ADDITIVE MACHINES
Arcam EBM Q10plus
The Arcam EBM Q10plus is our electron beam machine originally designed for cost-efficient production of orthopedic implants. It has a small footprint and features a high resolution and optimized surface finish.
Electron beam melting (EBM) technology has the power to help businesses build the next generation of applications, today. Offering high productivity and lower cost per part, EBM is an innovative technology for manufacturing in the orthopedic implant and aerospace industries.

Arcam EBM Q10plus
For orthopedic implants, the size of the build area is designed to allow for optimal stacking of the most common implant types. The build chamber interior is developed for easy powder handling and fast turn-around times. The Q10plus is particularly ideal for the production of high volume, press fit implants with advanced trabecular structures as derived from CT scans of individual patients.
The machine includes Arcam EBM xQam™ technology for high precision autocalibration, a powerful software platform and electronics for efficient and accurate beam control.
The Q10plus has Arcam EBM LayerQam™, our camera-based monitoring system for inline part quality verification. The Q10plus is delivered with a powder recovery system for efficient powder handling.

Build Performance Analyzer (BPA)
Our BPA is an analytics software that combines machine behavior, EBM physics and domain system knowledge into an in-depth analysis to give users a quick and easy understanding of performance of each build job.
• Analyzes performance of key machine and process sub-systems, such as • vacuum, beam, powder distribution and auxiliary units (such as chiller)
• Quickly assesses severity through simple red-yellow-green indicators
• Diagnoses root cause for failed or aborted builds
• Provides recommendations for the user to mitigate the diagnosed issues
• Offers detailed plot views and statistical summaries for further analysis
• Tracks actions taken
• Generates reports and analyzes historic build
